Based on exit polls, among the approximately 16.3 million people who identified themselves as Democrats, over 678,000 more voted for Hillary Clinton than Barack Obama. If we're going to "let the people decide" who the Democratic nominee would be, shouldn't we be basing that on the will of Democrats themselves?

If Democrats played by Republican primary rules....

If Democrats did winner take all, according to New York Times delegate counts, I've calculated who would win and when. Keep in mind I'm not sure if the proportionate delegate totals from districts would've awarded a different candidate a winner in the close states, but, just for fun, let's take a look:

358,000 voted on Saturday, meaning about
